One significant achievement of the American Hospital Dubai is its accreditation by the Joint Commission International (JCI), making it the first hospital in the Middle East to receive this prestigious recognition in May 2000. Since then, the hospital has consistently maintained its JCI accreditation through six successful reaccreditations, with the latest achieved in April 2015.

The Laboratory of the American Hospital Dubai also holds distinction, being the first to earn accreditation from the Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP). This accreditation has been renewed and upheld eight times, most recently in June 2015, emphasizing the hospital’s commitment to maintaining high standards in diagnostics and pathology services.
